Button.exe
CRITICAL_SYSTEM_DIALOG_13.exe is not responding. You just wanted to close a sketchy popup. But every time you click "OK", the program resists. It spreads. It mutates. It corrupts your desktop. Welcome to Button.exe, an escalating rogue-lite clicker where your only weapon against a chaotic computer virus is the very action that makes it worse.
The Gameplay Loop Start with a single, stubborn "Close" button. As you click, the virus fractures and expands into a massive, unpredictable grid. Every click generates Processing Power to buy upgrades, but it also increases system Entropy—causing the virus to mutate into highly volatile button types. You must carefully balance raw greed with system stability. If your Stability hits 0%, your system crashes, and the run is over.
Core Features
- Chaotic Grid Evolution: Watch your problem grow from a simple 1x1 annoyance into a visually overwhelming, screen-shaking 13x13 grid of pure digital chaos.
- Highly Volatile Mutations: The virus adapts. You will encounter replicating Splitters, explosive Bombs, cascading Chain Lightning bursts, and Radioactive Trojans that require immediate attention.
- Active Threat Management: This isn't a passive idle game. You'll need to actively trace Bug Trojans through procedural UI mazes and solve directional keycode puzzles to defuse Timed Bombs before they wipe your stability.
- Deep Upgrade Shop: Spend your hard-earned Processing Power to upgrade your click protocol, install stabilizers, and patch the RNG table to tip the odds in your favor.
- Prestige System: Push the virus to 100% Entropy or 95% grid infection to force a hard reboot. Retain permanent corruption bonuses to come back stronger in the next run.
Can you outpace the corruption, or will the system crash take you down with it?
